Entries are open for the Central Oklahoma Herding Dog Association annual

spring trials in Wichita, in conjunction with the Sunflower Cluster of Dog

Shows. These trials will be held April 5-6, 2008. We will be having ***THREE

TRIALS*** in **TWO DAYS!** (two on Saturday, one on Sunday). A Course,

sheep, nice indoor arena. Entries are $45 each, contact our trial secretary

Also, on Friday there will be Arena Runs offered for $25 each. The insert

page for these was accidently omitted from the premium list (oops, my

fault). If you are interested in signing up for an arena run, contact me at

xplori@hotmail.com. These runs will be limited by stock and time allowed,

and will be held from 9 a.m. until approx. 4 p.m. Arena runs are open to any

dog working at a competitive level, it is not required that they are entered

in the weekend trials. Arena Runs are sheep only, on a flock that will be

similar to the trial sheep. This is a great chance to take the edge off your

dog before you compete!

This weekend is JAM PACKED full of events, including conformation, agility,

obedience, shopping, art show, breed seminars, all breed DNA clinic, eye

clinic, rally, puppy match, specialties, lure coursing, junior handler

programs and top juniors competitions, ICSB services, and a church service

on Sunday morning, as well as herding! All events are located within walking

distance, out at the Kansas Coliseum complex, north of Wichita.

Motels are located within 5 minutes, and overnight camping is available on

the grounds. Lots of room to walk dogs!
